ABOUT US

Moira The Dreamer

We are a California based 501c3 organization that exist to advance the Gospel by providing food, shelter, clothing and educational opportunities to poor families in the Philippines, Southeast Asia and wherever there is need.

BACKGROUND

Moira The Dreamer was borne out of Moira Flores, the dreamer.

Born in Iloilo City and grew up in Marikina, Philippines.  Moira grew  up into poverty.

It was always a struggle to have basic necessities let alone tools and resources in order to finish school.

But she was able to overcome adversity, with the help of friends and literal strangers. She finished school, got a job, started a family, and eventually ended up living in Los Angeles, CA where she’s been a resident for the past 26 years.

It was always Moira’s dream and  passion to be able to give back and enable hopes and dreams through education, for underprivileged kids not only in the Philippines, but wherever there’s need .

This effort is not only the fruition, but the beginning of this God given movement and journey.

MISSIONS & OBJECTIVES

Our Goal  is to be able to provide necessary resources; food, shelter, clothing, educational tools including financial assistance to needy underprivileged children in the cities and slums of the Philippines.

Our plan is to reach out to like minded individuals who have a heart to impact and help the next generation of impoverished children and their families, so that they can be productive, successful individuals themselves and be able to reach back and do the same for the generation coming next.

Our focus is to provide educational needs first, along with basic necessities for the children and their families, and in the process be able to also assist in their financial, mental, and spiritual well being.

JOIN US,  so we can enable dreams and change futures, one child at a time.

THE PLAN

Moira The Dreamer Foundation  plans on achieving its goals through partnering with local faith based and traditional organizations that already provide care and needs to the locals.

Recipient Beneficiaries will be allowed to post their needs and will be assessed based on availability of resources or criticality of need.

Partner Donors will have a chance to provide for individual needs, see who they assist, as well as get updates directly from them; but will be protected from being directly accessed by their beneficiaries.
